Peer Health Navigator – Certified Peer Counselor

Location: Stanwood, WA | Mental Health 270

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Range: $21.05 – $25.38 starting (opportunities to make beyond this range with time in the role)

Join Telecare’s Fern Lodge Behavioral Wellness program in Stanwood, WA—a secure mental health facility focused on stabilization and recovery for adults. As a Peer Health Navigator, you’ll draw on your lived experience to support others in navigating mental, physical, and substance use care. You’ll help clients build skills for self-advocacy, resilience, and long-term wellness—all while working alongside a compassionate, multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support members with navigating behavioral and physical healthcare

• Model recovery and wellness through lived experience

• Provide coaching, goal-setting, and health system education

• Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and social workers

• Respond to client crises with de-escalation and trauma-informed care

Qualifications:

• Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) through WA HCA prior to hire

• High school diploma or GED

• 2+ years’ experience supporting individuals with behavioral health needs

• Lived experience as a recipient of public behavioral health services

• Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle
