About
I am a compassionate and motivated professional pursuing a career as a Certified Peer Support Specialist. I bring lived experience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping others navigate recovery, wellness, and personal growth. I have completed online training through the Washington State Health Care Authority and continue to expand my knowledge in peer support, mental health, and recovery-based services.
I have experience working with vulnerable individuals in caregiving, community support, and customer service environments. My background also includes supporting an elderly veteran client, assisting with daily living needs, providing emotional support, encouraging independence, and maintaining safety and dignity. I also bring years of experience in customer service, sales, and community engagement, allowing me to communicate effectively, build trust, and adapt to diverse needs.
I value teamwork, integrity, and respect. I’m committed to listening without judgment, empowering others through shared experience, and helping individuals identify their strengths, build confidence, and reach their goals. My goal is to contribute positively to the community while continuing to grow professionally in peer support and behavioral health services.
