About
I have over 15 years experience working in the field of recovery in multiple positions and agencies. My personal and professional experience has given me the opportunity to serve diverse populations and individuals on their path to sustainable recovery. I am open minded and compassionate with the ability to meet people where they are at. Offering motivational empowerment and advocacy to those seeking a path to wellness.
I began working for the Drug Court program in 2005. Providing Auricular detox Acupuncture, instruction in Tai Chi, and group facilitation. I went on to develop a private wellness business and assisted in the opening and management of Shadow Mountain Academy in New Mexico. A 9 month wilderness program for young adults focused on sustainable recovery and life skills.
Relocating to Seattle in 2010 I became the Director of Operations at The Recovery Cafe, an interventionist, trainer of facilitators and recovery coaches and a founding member of the Recovery Cafe Network.
I am also a founding member of the WRA and The National Opioid Crisis Response Team.
I just finished a 6 month commitment as a Peer Counselor on the PATH street outreach team at Comprehensive Healthcare in Yakima. I am eager and motivated to begin this next chapter in Lacey / Olympia continuing and developing myself as a voice for the people.
