About

Dear Hiring Team,

I am seeking an opportunity to serve as a Certified Peer Specialist and support individuals on their recovery journeys. After more than 30 years in the corporate world, I have chosen to dedicate my career to work that aligns with my lived experience, values, and passion for helping others.

I recently completed my Washington State Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) certification. My greatest qualification, however, comes from years of personal recovery experience, more than a decade of 12-step sponsorship, and helping individuals and family members navigate trauma, addiction, mental health challenges, suicide intervention, and eating disorder recovery.

I have been deeply involved in recovery communities and recovery-focused solutions and understand the importance of hope, connection, and peer support. My goal is to use my lived experience to help others find stability, resilience, and a path forward.
While I bring a strong professional background, I am primarily looking for meaningful work where I can directly support people and contribute to a mission-driven organization. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team and the individuals you serve.
