About
My name is Sherryl and I have had a very colorful life. Accumulatively over 20 years in recovery and about the same amount in addiction, mental health, homelessness, domestic violence and lived to tell about it. This last time I had the helping hands of a CPC when exiting jail and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be where I am today. With there guidance, knowledge and empathy I was able to get the help I needed. I have since been working/volunteering to reach my goals of becoming a Peer Specialist and then eventually a SUD counselor. I have a certificate in Group Facilitation from Peer Kent and am working my way through all the processes of getting what I need to keep moving forward in my journey. I am a highly motivated and dedicated person, so when I decide what I want I go for it and do what it takes to get it.
