Job Description: Vieira Counseling and Consulting is seeking a part-time Certified Peer Specialist to join our dedicated treatment team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about behavioral health and fully committed to serving our community.

How to Qualify:

Minimum requirement: High School diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Completion of specialized training through Washington State HCA to become a Certified Youth or Family Specialist, or the ability to complete this training. Dual certification is preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience working in the medical/mental health field.
Must be 21 years or older.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for employment. New employees with out-of-state licenses must obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of employment.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Actively participate as a member of the treatment team, providing outreach, engagement, and ongoing support to enrolled youth and families.
Utilize personal experiences of recovery to offer guidance and support to youth or families in their own recovery journeys.
